How Oscillating Blades Achieve What Lasers and Standard Knives Can’t

Time:2026-05-22

Carbon fiber, glass fiber, and graphite sheets are notoriously difficult to cut. These materials combine brittleness with high toughness, which makes them highly prone to delamination. Standard blades often leave frayed, fuzzy edges, while laser cutting risks thermal damage to the resin matrix. Oscillating blades overcome these issues through high-frequency, small-amplitude micro-oscillations. This technique generates minimal pulling force and very little heat. The result is a clean, smooth cut edge—free of fraying and delamination—that preserves the material's structural integrity completely.
